Our Work
Thanks to funding provided by the Perry County Food Access Partnership, PCFAC is able to offer a variety of opportunities and collaborations throughout Perry County.

01
School gardens & outdoor classrooms
Located at all four districts in Perry County, PCFAC members collaborate with district staff to coordinate Pennsylvania STEELS aligned garden lessons and visit weekly during the main growing season to help facilitate lessons.
02
Free Farmer's Market Events
Offering totes of free fresh, local produce, each outreach event allows us to share resources with Perry County families all while making sure our local farmers are getting paid equitably.

03
Farm co-op
Connecting local farmers with Perry County food service directors, our co-op coordinates relationships, orders, and deliveries giving Perry County students healthier options during their school day and uplifts our local economy.
04
Community education
Held at a variety of locations across Perry County, coalition members offer a number of education opportunities including gardening, food preservation, and cooking.
